Working with modules

Text/ HTML Module
The Text/HTML Module is the most likely used module, so understanding how it works will help you a lot.

IN SAFARI, THIS MODULE WORKS ONLY IN HTML MODE. WE SUGGEST USING FIREFOX FOR AN EASIER USER EXPERIENCE.

The module is similar to how you might edit text with a MS Word document. You can type text, make it bold, or underline,

you can center the text, or

add bullets

Editing Text Tips & Short Cuts

Editing text is easy, but you don't have the same level of control as you would in Word or In Design. Use a soft-return [ On a PC - Shift>Enter] to reduce the space between lines

Use the icon that looks like a Word icon (with the "W" to remove any formatting that you don't want. This works well when you have pasted form another application and it looks un-attractive.

Documents Module
Use this module when you want to have documents available for your customers to download from your website. Upload your .doc or .pdf file to the File Manager prior to adding a document. Always use a safe naming structure such as mydocument.pdf avoiding spaces, dashes and illegal characters. Not following this structure will produce download errors.

Feedback Module
This module can be used as a way to gather testimonials, feedback, questions, help and more. Be sure to go into Settings and type an email address in the.Send to: field. Also DO NOT select Show Comments, as this shows comments from everyone to everyone.

Survey Module
This module is a lot of fun and quite useful. When you set this module up, be sure to go into Settings and set the bar width to "100" , click "one vote per cookie", and leave the datefield blank if you want the survey to run indefinately.
